reflecting upon our current national econmic crisis, we have been looking for more and more ways to have "free fun". fortunately, we LOVE the public library. they have a FABULOUS kids department, the nicest staff, and a slide, crafts and puzzles galore.
this week was the celebration of dr. suess' birthday, and so in honor, we were encouraged to make both striped hats (cat in the hat) and fish (one fish two fish). i especially love how vivian tore up the strips of red paper to make scales.
even bauer can wield a glue stick with great ease! i can hardly wait to see what next week's theme will be.
