getting ready

most of december was a blur, but we did manage to capture a few sweet moments as we prepared for the birth of our savior...

miss frances was totally enamored with all things christmas tree. this is the first time i have had a crawling baby at christmas, and WOW...it was a challenge!

this might be my favorite picture of the entire year. totally unplanned but amazingly perfect!!

see? i told you she loved all things tree! ;)

we also spent a lot of time at popa and dotdot's. where frances entertained us with her musical talents...

and bauer...well he is just all-around entertaining.

popa even got in the spirit by reading the night before christmas!

but my most favorite "getting ready" christmas moment was when vivan and bauer put on their very own christmas play (a nod to the benderlings, no doubt). it included a puppet show about the grinch and his dog max, the birth of baby jesus, and a brief segment (seen here) about the nutcracker ballet. ;) a comprehensive story, to say the least....
