at least twice a week we put on our pjs, and we go see the lights. it is a tradition, and i love it!
another wonderful tradition is "santa's house". a wonderful older couple spend a good month putting up an amazing village and invite the community to walk down and enjoy during the holiday season. she dresses and mrs. claus, he as santa, and they offer candy canes and pictures to all. we have done this with friends and family since vivian was born, and even in the off months whenever we pass the house the kids always comment, "mommy, that is where we get to visit santa!"
