family "day"

so now that clif has a "normal" job, we get to do fun things like have weekends together. i must admit this has been a bit of an adjustment...we are still of the mindset that at any moment he will leave for work. finally, this weekend we figured it out...so we decided to have family time. clif had the idea to either bowl, or go to showbiz. we let vivian choose, and to our amazement she chose bowling (we were so proud\relieved!).

on the way to maumelle we talked about what to expect, the balls, the pins, etc. but we had NO idea how excited she would be. she LOVED it! (hence the cheesy grin.)

and of course what did bauer do? he was his sweet, normal, chilled out, self...i love that kid!! :)

and btw, our nephew came through surgery with flying colors...he even ate pizza for dinner that night (that's a kid for you)! and daddy, even though he is STILL in the hospital, is doing a little better. dot dot put it best, "he is talking boy and ignoring girls...he must be feeling better!" (this was after a long discussion with clif about the sec tournament.) i think she is right. thanks for all your prayers, keep it up, we aren't out of the woods...yet.
